Heroic Scribblers Checklist

Funny story - Somehow the X-Men 143 reference made it through again in the pilot that went out to millions of people. We asked them to change it, per the requests on this board and you know, common sense. But it refuses to die. Maybe Hiro knows something we don't....
Our apologies to the faithful, and of course, to the poor miss K.P. who is destined to having comic newbies looking not the briliant "Days of Future Past", but that weird Christmas Book.

Three more weeks - and you actually get episodes to talk about EVERY week foer 11 weeks. I think after you see a few- you'll be begging for less spoilers....
Ah, who am I kidding? OK, spoiler. Hmmm... Does Rena Sofer count?

Good speculation guys... Clea will first appear in Episode 102, Don't Look Back and will have an integral part of Matt's (Greg Grunberg) story. She's amazing and adds a lot to our show. She's playing something that I haven't seen her do a lot of and she's doing it masterfully.

Thanks for the link, Craig. That's a lot of great footage! And I'm not afraid to say... I love Linkin Park. Reanimation is an amazing album. And I'm loving the Fort Minor of it all.

Very good Mosaic DNA description. We had to talk to several scientists before we understood it as clearly.
But, what could that possibly mean for our friend Peter?

We're so glad that you're all liking the show. And yes, X-men #143 is indeed the wrong issue. I wish we could say that we did that intentionally to test the true fans, but really... it was just a goof. We can admit when we've done wrong.
It will be fixed by the time it hits the air. #141

That is so damn impressive work there. Damn impressive.
I can tell you that the eclipse does have meaning on the show and is not simply an artistic choice (although the amazing designers at Stargate, our computer graphics company, just CRUSHED that imagery.) As we always like to say, everything is connected.
Of course, I can't tell you what the eclipse means just yet, that would be giving too much away. But, I will tell you this...

Dear Oddball:
PHS? I'm sorry for your suffering, but I know the cure and it's going to come in weekly doses starting on Sept. 25.
It's good to know you're not suffering alone. Keep up the chatter, maybe that will ease some of your symptoms. And maybe one of us Scribblers will post some type of spoilers, like a dose of aspirin, to ease your pain.
Am I a bad person for hoping that this syndrome is contagious.

Believe me, I know how frustrating it can be to be chasing after something only to find it on Ebay for a ton of $$$.
Hopefully, we'll be posting the comic here for all to enjoy reading and checking out Tim Sale's amazing art.
Also, keep checking back - we're trying to find some way/contest/etc. to give out some more of these collectibes to all of you who want it.
Fingers crossed.

Two words: Wendy and Lisa.
Some of the score in the pilot was borrowed, but the majority of the score when you see it on screen and in the subsequent episodes willbe Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman.
You may remember them from Prince and the Revolution if you are a child of the 80s - or for their critically acclaimed credit sequences for Carnivale (and I think "Rome" as well).
They pretty muck rock as musicians and as people. You'll get it once you start litening to the sound of the show.

The show is ALL ORIGINAL. From the mind of Tim Kring! The 9thWonders comic books given away at comic con -- are part of the show. And if you're looking for spoilers -- look to the comics. Isaac Mendez is the character on HEROES who can paint the future -- and 9thWonders is the comic book he draws on the show... so... that means... read comics to find... SPOILERS!

Alias - was a great show for the first 2 years, then went down hill.
[/quote]

Season three aint terrible on DVD. 4 and 5 have their moments. But 1 and 2 -- the best!
So kind of you to give me a shout-out!
My favorite shows of the moment...
LOST -- They're family, come on!
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA -- The frakkin' best show on TV.
PSYCH -- Are you kidding me with this show. Genius. Roday and Hill are amazing.
THE UNIT -- This show is super hit and miss for me eps 4-8 were kind of fantastic.
PROJECT RUNWAY -- Free Tim Gunn!
BEN 10 -- I have a five year old -- so everything else on my list is cartoon network fare.
AVATAR -- Every beat is a reversal! Some of the tightest writing I've seen in years.

7 year contracts are the industry standard for new cast members on all network shows. They lock you up -- and throw away the key. Unless the show's a hit -- and then it's time for renegotiation!

J.R. Orci (I call him Rick, or genius, or Bob's smarter brother) was always lurking on the Alias boards. He was a Syd Vaughn Shipper from day one. And he's right -- fanfic was a NoNoNo. Legal folks tell us to avoid the stuff at all costs.
But you can always read Rick's site -- jrorci.com. Legal won't get mad at'ya for that.

Hey. Apologies for the delay. Been out of town.
A couple of things:
1. Unfortunately, there will not be a screening of the pilot at Wizard World Chicago. However, our own JEPH LOEB will be there. If you see him around, tell him you're "talking about Heroes!" He'll give you a big smile.
2. We're working on getting the comic posted here. More details soon.
3. Obviously we've done our jobs well, because the comic contains some pretty amazing spoilers... it's in there. Trust me.

Hey all:
A Wizard World Variable will be available at the Chicago Convention in August, if any of you are planning on going.
Including it on the DVD is a great idea, but I know how impatient I can be (and I assume most people are the same, so...)
We will try to put Tim Sale's beautiful art here on 9th Wonders at some point in the near future.
Keep your eyes peeled.
